The RMT, which is one of the best trade unions around, and is not tied to the fetid corpse of the Labour Party has called a demonstraton on Wednesday next against 1,000 job cuts which were announced last week by London Underground. Darren Johnson, Green Assembly Member for London will address the demo and myself and other members of the Green Party Trade Union Group will be there to support the union. The demo is at St James Park station and will be outside the building where many of the workers are based who are due to face the growing dole queues. I hope all trade unionists will support them. The RMT says no to job cuts. This is just the start. If they get away with it now there will be no stopping them.
